Tournament Update

posted Jan 8, 2011, 6:26 PM by Chris Crow   [ updated Jan 29, 2011, 4:58 PM ]

UPDATE: Slyboots won. Tournament replays updated.

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------

We have a few games left, and decided to postpone the rest of the games.

Future games will be:

In the losers bracket, we have Cheshyr vs Tiberius

In the winners bracket, we will have Kresselack vs SlyBoots (Slyboots is the winner)

The loser of the Kresselack vs Slyboots will play the winner of the Cheshyr vs Tiberius game.

The winner of that game will play the winner of the Kresselack vs Slyboots game.

Then we will have a best 3 of 5 final with all maps.

All of the replays are in the attached zip file. Thanks everyone!!

Help with ideas for Starcraft 2

posted Sep 12, 2010, 9:34 AM by Chris Crow

I couple of ideas I would like some feedback on:

  • What do you think about having a contact list for local Starcraft 2 players that would be private for those players?
  • The idea has been floated about having a local Starcraft 2 tournament, including streaming the games live online, and having tournament prizes. Does anyone have a good idea on how to set that up? I'll post some initial thoughts in the Tournament page.

If you have feedback on any of the above, send an email to starcraft@ccrow.org

I just moved the ccrow.org hosting to google, and we will see how this goes.

I'm hoping it will be a little easier to manage than my wordpress site. i have all of the previous technical content available if anyone would like the information.
